Russia has completed washing the primary circuit systems of both reactors of Academician Lomonosov floating NPP

Russia has completed washing the primary circuit systems of both reactors of Academician Lomonosov, the first-of-a-kind floating nuclear power plant set to be commissioned in 2019. 

The operation is an important part of commissioning work on the plant and confirms the reliability of the equipment and technological systems, Rosenergoatom said on 6 October. 

It was completed ahead of schedule since it had originally been planned for the end of November, the company added.
